Our work
At FEDCOOP, our work revolves around empowering cooperative societies and their members to achieve sustainable growth, financial stability, and national development. As the umbrella body for civil service cooperatives across Nigeria, we deliver a wide range of programs and services aimed at building stronger, more resilient cooperative communities.
Our key areas of work include:
🔹 Capacity Building & Training
We organize leadership workshops, cooperative management training, and financial literacy programs to help societies operate more effectively.
🔹 Access to Finance
FedCoop connects members to loan facilities, microcredit schemes, and savings plans designed to strengthen cooperative operations and support civil servants' welfare.
🔹 Advocacy & Representation
We represent the interests of our members at national and state levels—working with policymakers, ministries, and regulatory bodies to shape cooperative-friendly policies.
🔹 Compliance & Oversight
Through monitoring, auditing, and advisory support, we help cooperatives maintain transparency, legal compliance, and good governance practices.
🔹 Networking & Collaboration
We provide platforms for cooperatives to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate—through conferences, exhibitions, and joint ventures.
